WHEN FASHION IS A PASSION.. PASHION MAGAZINE
Susan Sabet , Editor In Chief of PASHION magazine and one of the most classy and decent persons anyone can ever meet talked to COLORFUL MANIA about her passion for fashion; her favorite designers and fashion Icons and how one can stand a chance in the fashion world.
Susan Sabet launched PASHION, a pan-Arab bi-lingual , Arabic & English, fashion, beauty and luxury magazine in 2004, aiming to keep her readers in the fashion with a compilation of the top seasonal trends and must-have items, and introduce young emerging talents from our region.
Q: Egypt has a few fashion opportunities ,What should young designers do to prove themselves in the field?
A: You have to be really committed and prepared for a long tiresome road till success. You have to learn properly how to design, make patterns, cut and sew. Only then can you really produce something wearable. I suggest you try to intern with a properly set up designer first , to really understand all the steps of the production from inspiration to final product.
Q : Who is your favorite designer ?
A :There are so many designers I like. It also depends on each
season but in general my favorite designers are Giambattista Valli, Dior, Fendi,Stephane Rolland for high end. I like Cos and Zara for high street and then I always find great pieces from young emerging mid-range priced designers .

A:I always have several shades of lipstick and lip gloss in my bag.the rest are just basics like phone, note book , keys, comb, etc..
Q: What you loved most and what you hate about New York Fashion collection?
A: There is really nothing I hated about NYFW . there were so many strong collections and it was all so fresh and colorful, that I wish next spring was already here.

Q:Who do you consider your fashion icon?
A: I wouldn't call it fashion icon, its more of style icons to me. And that's not really about wearing the latest runway look, but its more of the way those women carry themselves and carry a look. The late Grace Kelly and Jackie O. would look more stylish in a simple pullover and pants than so many celebrities today, made up from head to
toe in designer gowns. I also love Angelina Jolie on the red carpet. she is always stunning.

KATE SPADE's COLLECTION BRINGS THE VINTAGE SPIRIT

Every FASHIONISTA tries her best to follow fashion shows and know what is trending and see designers beautiful creation and no doubt that New York Fashion Week is one of a kind of a show that fail to get our attention not because of its beautiful designs trends and models but because we could not ignore how stylish the guests are too .. here some of the media people ; fashion editors , bloggers and models who captured our eyes.

BCBG Max Azria SS14
Models appeared with a very light make up and loose hair walked the BCBG Max Azria spring/summer 2014 the designers choose a soft fabrics like cotton, chiffon . the cuts were more asymmetric and most of the dress were more casual than feminine . The designs colors were mainly pale blue , white , some floral prints mixed with black and some neutrals .
I like the dress in the first image most because it is simple, casual ,feminine and stylish.
The last two dresses are a perfect pick for a wedding or party .

كواليس الزفاف
تتوالى حفلات الزفاف حولنا يوما بعد يوم و نرى العروس و أهلها منهمكين فى تحضير مراسم الزفاف من شراء جهاز العروس و تفصيل أو شراء فستان الزفاف إلى التأكيد ان بوفيه الزفاف سيكون على ما يرام . و لكن كيف تكون مراسم الزواج الملكى ؟ و كيق يكون جهاز الملكات ؟ من أشهر الزفافات الملكيه فى مصر هو زفاف الملك فاروق و الملكه فريده . و بما أن باريس كانت عاصمه الأزياء و الموضه كان لها النسبه الأكبر فى صنع جهاز الملكه . و قد قام محل "فاسل" المشهور ان ذاك بمهمه وضع نماذج لأزيائه ( كما نرى فى الصوره التى على اليسار ) و عندما عرضها أختير منها 45 ثوبا و معطفا ملكيا و أربع أثواب لحفلات الزفاف و أربع معاطف من الفرو و عاد مديره إلى باريس و أشرف على جهاز العروس بنفسه و كان باقى الجهاز من أشهر المحلات الفرنسيه أما عن ثوب الزفاف فقد قام بصنعه محل " روث" ( الملكه فريده فى ثوبها على اليمين ) أما "شانل" فقد حظى بصنع أثواب الملكه نازلى . و بجانب الأزياء ذلك كان الملك فاروق حريص على إهداء عروسه الكثير من الهدايا منذ أعلنت خطبيهما و كان أثمنها العقد النادر ( أسفل الصوره ) الذى أهداه لها يوم عقد قرانهما السعيد و هو يعتبر قطعه نادره مكونه من ثلاثه أفرع من الماس الأبيض
. و تنتهى الأفرع من الناحيتين بمساكتين ذات ماستين نادرين . و قد بلغ ثمنه نحو 27000 جنيه و أستغرق صنعه فى باريس عاما كاملا .

What was it like to live during the 1920s? The Great Gatsby is based off the best novels that was written in the 1920s by F. Scott Fitzgerald in 1925, becoming a great classic upon publication in 1925. The Great Gatsby 2013 movie is not the first movie to be made based on the book but it is the FIFTH .
The first Great Gatsby Movie Ever was released in 1926 but unfortunately no footage of the film survives other than the one minute trailer and you may find the movie in the archives ( but you can't easily afford it) .
